Our company became a member of the Slovak Association of Facility Management at the beginning of 2017.

SAFM IN BRIEF

The Slovak Association of Facility Management was established in Bratislava in 2009. It was established in response to the increasing demands placed on facility management within organisations. SAFM is the professional sponsor of facility management quality in Slovakia.

The Slovak Association of Facility Management is a civic association focused on the development of independent collaboration on a not-for-profit and partnership basis between its members and between its members and facility management sympathisers.

SAFM’S MISSION

The Slovak Association of Facility Management initiates, creates, implements and supports systematic professional education and training for facility managers.

The equal standing of all the members of the association ensures that they all enjoy the same access to information. SAFM ensures the exchange of information, experience and know-how between experts at the international level through partnering branches in other countries and with other relevant professional organisations of a national or multinational character.

The association represents and promotes the interests of its members vis-à-vis state and local authorities as well as the Slovak parliament within the drafting of laws, generally binding legal acts and other documents applicable to facility management. SAFM plays a decisive role in the coordination of the legislative process in the European Union and continues to develop its partnerships via the international EuroFM network.
